Yi-Mei Lu brings a unique blend of financial expertise across a few industries, an international perspective, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

She has three decades of professional experience, primarily in the financial industry, as well as in public accounting, pharmaceuticals, and nonprofits, with roles spanning auditing, corporate treasury, risk management, governance, and accounting. She has worked at several Fortune 500 and large organizations, with J.P. Morgan being her longest employer. Versatility is her strength, along with strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and knowledge of financial markets and products.

Yi-Mei had a big dream of improving the world after earning a master’s degree in international nonprofit management, but the realities soon set in, and she decided to return to the financial industry for the fast-paced environment.  Now retired, she is ready to pursue her dream again, but one person at a time.

For her, the real value of money lies in the more choices and opportunities it provides in life.  She hopes to help others improve their lives through financial literacy.
