 Nicholas Miranda brings a dynamic combination of financial expertise, high-performing classroom instruction, and a deep commitment to expanding economic opportunity. 

He serves as Program Consultant & Lead Facilitator at 5 Buckets Foundation, where he leverages his background to deliver impactful financial wellness programming. In addition to his foundation work, Nicholas is a former high school AP Macroeconomics teacher in NYC, with a professional background spanning private equity, capital markets, and secondary market lending. His career reflects a strong ability to bridge complex market principles with practical, accessible education. 

Throughout his career, Nicholas has excelled at taking intricate economic and financial concepts and translating them into practical skills that empower individuals to take control of their financial futures. 

 Nicholas believes that expanding economic opportunity starts with practical, real-world education. He recognizes that true financial empowerment comes from giving individuals both the knowledge and the confidence to navigate complex economic systems. His goal is to blend private-sector lessons with his experience as an educator to help learners build long-term financial stability. 

As a SCORE mentor with the Money 101 Education Program, Nicholas supports learners and entrepreneurs by making financial literacy, business planning, and strategic decision-making real-world relevant. He helps clients understand their financial landscape, evaluate risk, and build a solid economic foundation before and during their entrepreneurial journey. 

He is especially motivated by seeing individuals gain the clarity and confidence necessary to build meaningful futures for themselves and their families. 

Nicholas’ engaging educational style helps clients feel supported as they ask tough questions and build critical skills. He believes that with the right tools and guidance, anyone can make informed decisions that drive lasting success.

Nicholas is an avid marathon runner and passionate traveler who is fascinated by ancient history. After completing the New York City Marathon and while training for Chicago, he spends his time outside of work exploring historic wonders around the globe. Recent travels include hiking Machu Picchu, exploring the ancient pyramids of Giza, visiting Chichén Itzá, and walking through Stonehenge.
