Amanda (Mandy) Bilger

Amanda (Mandy) Bilger brings nearly a decade of experience in financial software development, with a strong focus on building and supporting systems used in trading and advisory environments.

Her work has given her a unique perspective on how financial systems operate behind the scenes and deepened her understanding of the practical financial challenges individuals face every day.

Mandy comes from a hardworking family near Baltimore, Maryland, who never let her forget the value of a dollar. Her mom loved to remind her that she sewed her own clothes and worked full-time as a bank teller to pay for community college. By working tirelessly throughout public school, Mandy earned a full scholarship to Drexel University, where she studied Computer Science and served as a teaching assistant from her sophomore year through graduation—all early signs of her strong technical skill and passion for helping others learn and grow.

Drexel’s unique co-op program, in which students must apply, interview, and work for three separate 6-month opportunities, allowed her to sample different fields and workplace cultures, and she was drawn to the complex problems of the financial industry.

Throughout her career, Mandy has seen that while the world of finance can be highly complicated, successful personal financial management often comes down to clear goals and consistency. That belief has inspired her growing interest in financial literacy, long-term wealth building, and practical strategies that help people make meaningful progress over time.

She is especially passionate about helping people cut through misinformation, avoid feeling overwhelmed, and focus on sustainable habits that build confidence and financial security. Mandy believes that with the right tools, encouragement, and direction, anyone can improve their financial skills and get on a better path for the future.

English, some Mandarin Chinese

Throughout middle and high school, Mandy studied Mandarin Chinese as her foreign language of choice and, in 2013, lived with a family in Xi’an for 2 months on a foreign exchange trip. In 2026, Mandy finally returned to China, this time to the northeast region, to visit the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival.
